The truth is it depends. Does your website create a positive, or negative view of you and your business? Does your site create leads? Does it get traffic? If you are getting traffic to your site, then all you need to do is to get your site converting and one option is a new site.
In truth there are 1001 answers to that question. However, one simple solution is this. DO MORE MARKETING. Let me explain. Most businesses don’t do enough. They are on LinkedIn, but don’t really use it. They don’t do anything much to get traffic to their website. They don’t like picking up the phone, or chasing people to buy and it is costing them hundreds of thousands, or even millions every year.
In truth there are 1001 answers to that question. However, one simple solution is this. DO MORE MARKETING. Let me explain. Most businesses don’t do enough. They are on LinkedIn, but don’t really use it. They don’t do anything much to get traffic to their website, etc.
There are two keys to this. Firstly, develop a written sales system. Secondly, training your people in your system and in sales every day.
As the old saying goes. “You cannot manage what you do not measure”.
Once you start measuring your results, you can work on a plan for improving those results.
Without an understanding of where you are and what is working and what is not how to you know where to put your money?
The number one key it to get trained. Learn from people who have years of experience and who have a proven track record of getting results.
The truth about success in business is this. If you are good at marketing and selling you will make a lot of money and if you aren’t, you won’t. End of story!
So many people are on LinkedIn (in fact 33 million in the UK alone). However, 95%+ do nothing or very little. Basically they FTI (fail to implement). They also fail to train themselves.
Again it is about have a system, then implementing that system. My number one piece of advice would be – Pick up the phone and talk to people.

Firstly, I would say that there is often a lack of investment in both time and money. Successful people invest both in their business,
Secondly, there is an acute lack of training in sales and marketing resulting in poor standards. No longer is it acceptable to say “I don’t understand LinkedIn”.
Thirdly, I would say would be a lack of understanding of the company’s sales and marketing numbers.
There could be many reasons and let me assure you that you are not alone. Most marketing does not work the first time you try it and the keys are – Stick at it! Measure your results and test different elements in order to improve performance.
