Business Advice UK – What is the key to business success? I was asked this recently during an online seminar with the Canada UK Chamber of Commerce. I thought about it, then a came up with just two words…
There are many keys to becoming more successful and they include managing the finances, creating sales, managing your business operationally etc, etc.
However, if you ask me what is the number one thing that you need to do in business to become more successful then I would answer with two words. Those words are – BE DIFFERENT.
Be different! You’ve got to be different in your business and this is because if you have the same as everybody else then your customers will not know which business to choose and they’ll probably go for the cheapest and you really don’t want to be competing on price at the bottom end of the market with the most competition and often the least profit.
Therefore, you’ve got to be different. You’ve got to be different in the way you market your business. You’ve got to be different in the way you sell your products and services and you’ve got to be different in the way that you deliver those products and services to your market and even being different in the products and services that you offer.
